inporting into access error message

I am trying to import an excel file into access and I
keep getting this error message "system resources
exceeded". I tried it on a different machine and got the
same error. I decreased the size of the excel file and
saved it in another folder and got the same error. i have
no problem importing other excel files. Anyone else ever
have the same problem and found a solution?

Hi Sherri,

This probably means that something has gone wrong inside the Excel file.

various techniques for retrieving the situation. (The first methods -
automatic recovery or Open and Repair - only apply to Excel 2002 or
later, but most of the others work with earlier versions too.)
