I receive several messages each day that contain a list
of words:
angeline holt inhumane sovereign dovekie hercules testate
advisee thebes harmful backlash gogo sickle bel berglund
demonstrable independent fancy cleave inexplicit ductile
jacobi airlift ripple

My anti-virus program has made no indication that
anything (virus) was removed. Is someone just testing the
validity of my e-mail address?

All recipients listed are users of my ISP cox.net

It's apparently just a new spam technique. There are all kinds of theories
going around as to what they're trying to do with all the "nonsense" words.
Doesn't seem to be a virus, but delete them without reading/opening them and
you should be fine.
