Inkjet cartridges

I've got an HP Deskjet printer and I was wondering if anyone could
advise me on the use of Compatible or Remanufactured cartridges
instead of the rather expensive OEMs.
Can anyone recommend a particular brand that they have used
themselves?
I'm in the UK.
Any suggestions please?

The are no "Compatible" cartridges for HP printers.

Anyone selling "compatible" HP Cartridges is actually
selling re-filled used cartridges.

There is no such thing as a "NEW" compatible for HP. If
you are mechanically inclined, re-fill the carts
yourself (but use GOOD ink, not cheapo one size fits
all).

If you dont feel confident that you can handle re-
filling the carts, then find a reliable source that uses
QUALITY ink, and use the re-filled carts.

I used to use refilled black cartridges from Chose or 7 day shop with
out truble. Then I tried colour and had cartridges that ran out of a
colour too quickly, some that where contaminated and some that would not
print one of the colours. Even though they where replaced at no charge
there is still the anoyence of waiting. I suspect its one of those make
money at home filling cartidges kind of industry.
I now fill my own or at least keep them toped up, and have no problems.
Used kits to start with as there does not seam to be a uk suplier of the
accesories and I'm now about to buy the ink in larger bottles.
