I am trying to upgrade from Win 98SE to Win 2000.
When I try to load Win 2000 with setup, it goes thru the
first phase and copies all the files. Then it shows a
screen that states Setup is starting Windows 2000. But,
it just sits there and won't load.
I've tried it several in both the upgrade and clear
installation mode. I've also reformated my hard drive and
tried loading it with a clean drive and it's the same
result every time.
I've been to the msn help sites and read thru FAQ's and
was supprised to find that my problem is apparently not
very common. Dang! I didn't really find any help.
Except I'm wondering if I don't need to flash my Bios.
My computer is a clone with a Shuttle Spacewalker A161
mother board and AMD 751 CPU.
Please Help!
Thanks!
