When any of my pages load with an image, before the image is fully loaded
you see the familiar rectangle box showing that an image is about to be
loaded. This is only for a split second, but I was wondering if there is a
way to wait for the image to fully load, and then just display the image. No
rectangle box.

Thanks

In the Picture Properties dialog box, click the General tab and then, under
Alternate Representations, configure a Low-Res image. This will still display
the box until the Low-Res image apears, but hopefully the low-res image will
be very small and download very fast. I imagine a small transparent GIF file
would suffice.

Thanks for the response. When I right click the image, I do not get a
general tab or picture properties box. All I get that is close is a format
picture choice, which does not have anything about what you are talking
about. Am I in the right place?

I am using FP2003

Thanks

Well, OK, you used Drawing and/or Shapes to add the text "The Needle Shop"
over the spool. You should avoid Drawing and/or Shapes. For the reason,
browse:

Instead, use a picture editing program to add your text and save a new
version of the picture.
