Have just installed Wxp succesfully and discovered I must have chosen
US/english instead of UK/english for the country settings. For example, the
date is month first and @ character is above the 2 with the " being where
the @ key is. How do I alter this please. Thank you, Ron.

I don't mean to be unkind, but Windows has a Help and Support Centre and I
suggest you use it - you will find the answer there. You will also find the
answer if you Google.

Start/Settings/Control Panel/Regional and Language Options

Click on Languages and then Details and you should be able to add the
keyboard layout you want.

And that's how Alex would have answered the OP's question? I don't think
so.

Check your input method & language under the Control Panel's
Regional and Language Options. It sounds like you're using the wrong
version of English for your location.

Yeah, what do you think? Imagine someone asking for help here. What is the
world coming to? Next thing some new user will be asking a question.

Go to Control Panel. You'll find "Regional and Language Options" there.
Change the language to whatever you wish!
