Inheriting a Dataset and DataTable

Hi,
I've been trying to inherit a Dataset and DataTable and
adding some additional properties. Unfortunately I've
been unsuccessful has the 'Tables' collection and the
relationship properties disappear as soon as I put the
inherited Dataset on a form and try to use it in the
IDE. Just like when I use a typed dataset. Could u
please help me by telling me what I am doing wrong, or
point me to a document that will explain this behavior to
me?
