Inheridence being reset

Hello,

I have two users that I know of that the inherit from
parent under the secuity tab is unchecked. Checking this
and then replicating only causes the user object to have
the check box unchecked.
We have had two DC crash in the last two weeks, but I
believe this has been an issue for over a month.

I have also moved them to other OUs with no change in
functionallity. I have even recreated new users with the
same results.

We have no FRS or AD errors.

Any thoughts?

Are these users members of any special groups like Domain Admins or
Adminstrators? Membership in certian groups causes inheritance to get
turned off by the security descriptor propogator (sdprop) process.

Wayne,

No they are not. They belong to Domain users and an
internal group, nothing else. THe other give them local
admin perms to computers only.

I am trying to create a new user in the OU with a
completely differnet name to see the out come. It is
just strange this is occuring.
