infrared printer drivers

There are several different HP printers at my workplace
with inrared ports. Which software/drivers should I
install on my tablet and laptop to allow my to print from
all or most of them. Is there a generic driver for HP or
do I need to install one for each model or series?
 
You will need to install the driver for the specific printer you plan to
target. If the printer supports Plug N Play on the IR port, the driver
and printer should get installed for you.
