Infrared connecting

I can´t arrived to connect my celiler phone - Nokia 6600, to my PC, trough the infrared connectiong. Can you help?

Have you reviewed the Windows Help and Support information on infrared
links?

make sure the infrared prot on your PC is active, then
activate the infrared on your Nokia and place it with the
two ports facing eachother at about 5-10 cms 1-3 inches.
Don't forget that you need to install the Nokia software
before you can use this functionality !
