does any one know why the icon in the try sometimes
changes from red to blue.... please someone email me if
you do, im curious to know.

Thanks
John

This relates to either Remote Assistance, Remote Desktop or Terminal
Services running.

Just to expand on Andre's comment, the icon will turn blue if you remote
desktop or terminal serve connect to a particular machine running MWAS. The
machine you connected to will have it's icon turn blue.

Actually, I notice this is in the remote desktop session.

Yes, I have a Windows 2000 computer using the Remote Desktop client to
connect to the XP Box, its remote session on the 2000 computer that displays
the Blue icon.
