Bonjour,
Comment avoir systématiquement l'information "Date" dans les dossiers (je
dois clique droit, Autres, Cocher date à chaque fois).

As this is an English language newsgroup, you should post messages in
English for results; alternatively if you don't speak English well enough
there are a number of French-language Windows support newsgroups where
French is the primary language used.

I'm not sure that this is a specifically English-language newsgroup.

anglaise.)

There's nothing to say so :-).

(Rien ne nous indique ceci. La plupart des américains peuvent seulement
parler un langage. Pas tous les nous sont américains.)

Although, Richard is correct that there is a French-languge newsgroup:

Je ne comprends pas votre question. Voulez-vous changer les données du
fichier ? Ou voulez-vous voir la date du fichier? Êtes-vous
«Explorateur» de utilisation?

Ou vous pouvez demander dans le newsgroup français aussi.

No, but nearly all the traffic here is in English. Somebody posting
here in French or any other non-English language greatly reduces the
number of people who can read his post. If he posts in a French
newsgroup, everybody will know what he's talking about and will have a
shot at helping him.

True, I agree. But - with great respect to Richard Harper, who is
well-known in this group as a helpful and knowledgeable dude - there are
no grounds for telling anyone to go away, just because they're not
speaking English. That seems very brusque and impolite.

If this group was called "microsoft.public.en.windows.vista.general", it
might be different :-)

French is a very widely spoken global language. Many (most?) educated
people in Western societies can read at least some French. If someone
posted in Lithuanian, that might also be a different matter (no
disrespect to our Baltic buddies!).

Anyway, I don't want to make a big issue out of it. I just don't think
we should freak out every time someone happens to post in French, or
German, or Spanish, or any other widespread global language.

I agree with everything you, and everyone else here, said about this.
I just wanted to say that I didn't read Richard's post as "freaking
out" at all. He explained that the OP "should post messages in English
for results" or that he would be better off posting in a French
newsgroup if his English wasn't good enough.

I think Richard's post was exactly to the point and meant to be
helpful to the OP.
 
I agree also!

The poster will get far more responses if the "majority" of people can read
his question!
