Which has what to do with this newsgroup?

This ASUS 'PEG Link Mode' apparently affects videocards specifically,
particularly in regard to OC ing them without the user's knowledge.
Hence, I would have thought this post to be completely pertinent to
this group.

Nothing other than that :

- a clandestine & hidden BIOS level O/C for ATi ;
- followed by a second user O/C may kill the ATi video card.

The door was open, did you forget how to use the key?, why didn't you
read the article first, before shooting from the lip?

Go on read it, if you can't manage the ' joined up writing ' get one
of your kids to help, or get back to me, and in the interests of
helping those afflicted with adjacent but not necessarily connect
brain cells I'll draw and publish a pictorial version just for you.

Your floundering and functionally redundant response has generated
this indulgent overdose of verbs.

Ive added some *s just for you :)

'Gigabyte alleges that Asus did not tell reviewers that it had enabled 'PEG Link Mode' or told
buyers that their ****ATI graphics cards**** would automatically be overclocked.'

In IE, hitting control F and entering search text allows you to quickly find keywords btw.
I control f'ed on 'ati'

Mornin', PatrickP.

Andrew and I have crossed swords before, generally I never pick an
intellectual fight with a man with no weapons . . . . but in his
case I'll make an exception.

Of course it's possible he is just having a bad morning in which case
I'll forget about it and wish the man a good life !

As a general rule excessive overclock results in flaky operation until the
speed is reduced, it doesn't "kill the card".

You do realize that you're coming across as bratty child do you not? One
insult would have sufficed.
