Hello guys, want to ask you something...
as I got a Matrox G450 video board that is going to leave me and that gives
me serious instability system problem, such as restart and so on...
I was thinking about buy a new video board try to get a cheap solution, I've
thought to get an ATI 9200 SE with a VGA and DVI exit, 'cause for me is
important to connect 2 monitors. But my question is as I've got 2 VGA
monitors, d'you think I can still connect those 2 monitors one on the first
exit VGA and the other on the second DVI exit with the DVI-VGA and keep
using the two monitors, or do I need to find a board with 2 VGA exit like my
old Matrox G450?
If there is a DVI-VGA adaptor. Thank you. I'll be glad if you can help me
out and solve my situation!

Yes, you can use two standard VGA monitors with a DVI capable ATI Radeon
card. I have had 3 different models of the card. All had the DVI output as
well. All of them (retail versions) came with a DVI -to-VGA converter in
the box. It should do what you require. I would first hook up one
monitor and make sure all is well. Then go for the second monitor. Ive
tried to hook up two at once and it sometimes will get a little confused
with the drivers. Not catastrophic or anything, but the ATI drivers of the
past can cause little "glitches" upon setting up. By going for monitor 1
first, then monitor 2 second, you help avoid such things.
