Info on drivers

Hi All
I am pritty new to computing but want to learn, about
drivers- what are they? What are browsers? Is there a
web site I can visit that can tell me in plain english
that I can understand. And give me more information on
the basics of computing, as I am very eager to learn,
then hopefully help other new users.
Any advice please.
