infinite loop problem during startup

I looked at your post and there is not much information there. What
devices did you add? What drivers did you install? What have you already
tried?

The most important thing you can do is boot to safe mode by pressing F8
at "Starting Windows 2000" and then choosing safe mode. You can then
remove the drivers you installed.

I removed the USB camera driver and the Kennington USB mouse with
scroll wheel.
I tried safe mode, but the system hangs with a black screen which says
"Safe Mode" in the corners, but does not let me do much.
I used WinInternals to boot up, and edited the Registry as suggested
by the other posting.
