I guess the new management at Infineon decided to fold? I hope they feel
err, penetrated.;-) This also leaves the others, especially Micron, kinda
exposed, since it was hoped that the outcome of Infineon vs. Rambus would
determine the rules for Micron vs. Rambus.

I haven't had time to read the above link, but the ones I have read don't
specify exactly what the settlement was. RMBS stock is pumped though,
which is the point, IMO.

The settlement involves Infineon paying Rambus almost $6M every
quarter until at least 2007. Draw your own conclusion (I know you
will anyway :).

I haven't had time to read much on this one. Your email sucked up every
spare minute I had today (btw, I just corrected my clock), so I didn't get
to read the details. But... $24M/yr looks like lawyer-bait to me.
