Hi All:

Having a tough time getting rid of some infections. I had to re-load
AdAware (it got disabled by the virus); I have run: Adaware, the AdAware VX2
remover; SpyBot; SpyBlaster; SpySubtract; and CWShredder. I am currently
runing AdwareSpy and it has found 19 new objects.

This is ridiculous. What am I doing wrong!?! What do I have to do to purge
this crap short of formatting my drive??

Please let me know.

Try running them in Safe Mode.

Then, Go to: http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
Download "Hijack This!" [freeware]

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates: "hijackthis.log")

Next, go to the below location:
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/

Sign in, go to the "Malware Removal" section.
Press "New Topic" and post a description of your symptoms. If they need to
see your log they will ask for it.

I have never heard of "AdwareSpy". Perhaps it imported the 19 things that
it supposedly found.
