infected of spam

I start getting the pop-up of spam everytime I open the
IE. It has been a day after I tried to instal the free
software online. Please help me to stop this anoying pop-
up, how to clean it from my machine? Thank you ....

What do you mena by "free software online?" Did you install some unknown
software? Running antivirus software and firewall? What version of Windows?
