Larry

im running windows XP and i have an infected NBR all of my
NBRs are 0 and one is 1. how can i fix this problem
without wiping out my hard drive. thanks

Hi Larry,

I am going to assume you meant MBR (master boot record). The way to fix this
is to boot an antivirus startup floppy (write-protected) or CD. You fix it
by scanning from there, you can't do this while Windows it running, nor can
you fix it by formatting and starting over. Most antivirus programs provide
for one or the other (or sometimes both) of these, check your program's
documentation for creating and using them.
