INF problem

When I go to my networkcard and try to install a new client etc it
tells me `windows canot find the required inf file` ( or similar as it
is all in german lol), can anyone tell me how to get around this as i
need to install a client to get the network running.

Hi Madcat,

Download and install the latest drivers for the NIC from the
Manufacturer's web site.

What is the name of the INF file Windows is asking for?

I have all the drivers for it, it is when I go into the properties for
the card, under the `general` tab it says `this connection uses the
following` when I try to add anything it says there is nothing to add
BUT I know there are things to add because I deleted a couple of them
to see if that did anything.The problem is i need IEEE 802.1x
running, usually it gets installed when i re instal the card but for
some reason it wont install it.Will making a new user make any
difference
