Dear All

I have been having a problem with a game I recently brought which refuses to
run as it keeps giving me a message stating that I have a debugger running.
After a lot of discussion with the games newsgroup we have potentially
narrowed it down to the fact that I have a process running called
Inetinfo.exe which the expert seems to think is a trogan called Tilebot.a
He gave me some advice on how to track it down and delete it, unfortunately
the progam I can did not detect it on my system at all.
I was therefore directed to you guys to see if you could give me any further
guidance as to what may be happening.
I run Windows XP professional on an AMD system using a Nvidia graphics card
and on board sound system on an Asus motherboard. Any ideas please as I have
had this game for some time and as yet have not been able to play it.
Incidently the game runs perfectly happily on my works pc which does not
have this Inetinfo.exe as a running process

Dear All

Inetinfo.exe is a process for IIS (Windows Web Server) and is a normal
process if you are running Windows XP Professional and have IIS
installed.
I was therefore directed to you guys to see if you could give me any further
guidance as to what may be happening.
I run Windows XP professional on an AMD system using a Nvidia graphics card
and on board sound system on an Asus motherboard. Any ideas please as I have

inetinfo - inetinfo.exe - Process Information
Process File: inetinfo or inetinfo.exe
Process Name: IIS Admin Service Helper
Description: inetinfo.exe is used primarily for debugging Microsoft
Windows Server Internet Information Services. This program is important
for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be
terminated. This program is also present on Windows XP professional
systems with IIS installed.

Only download software you can validate as uncompromised - in the case
of non-vendor site you have no guarantee that the files are unmodified
or uncompromised. Anyone providing a link to a non-vendors site with a
direct download should not be trusted, the vendors sites are the safest
place to download their application.

Always remember - only download files from Trusted Sites.

These sites are for downloading Anti-Spyware tools, in order that I
would use them myself:

AdAwareSE can be found here:
http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/

SpyBot Search and Destroy can be found here:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

Ewido Security Suite Trial can be found here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

CrapCleaner can be found at the vendors site here:
http://www.ccleaner.com/ccdownload.asp

CleanUp can be found at the vendors site here:
http://www.stevengould.org/software/cleanup/download.html
or from another reputable source:
http://www.tucows.com/get/405276_152071

The following are two links to Antivirus software in order that I would
use them:

You can also download Symantec Trial version of their Antivirus software
from here:
http://www.symantec.com/downloads/

Download AVG Personal Free edition from here:
http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/

These are the actual vendors sites, not some unknown or authorized no-
name site. They also don't artificially increase the hits for sites that
get paid for the amount of traffic they can generate like one poster has
admitted to in this group.

Once you download and install the tools (after you read about them),
updated them, reboot into SAFE MODE, and run them to check for malware.

As far as I am aware I do not have IIS installed nor do i run my home system
as a server.
I already have AVG and Ad-ware running and neither of these systems have
picked up any problems with my system.
Is there any way of disabling Inetinfo to see if my theory about this being
the debugger is correct. I cannot see any reason why it loads or runs if i do
not use my system as a server any way.
