Ineffective Security Measures

Hello Everyone

I was having a problem with working with security groups, in that i have created various groups with various permissions for a database I created. When i opened the file from my computer through my office network, the permissions and security groups were fine. However if i opened the file from another computer in my office, no security groups exisited. All my files are saved on the server so everyone should have access to the same files. Please advise on any possible solutions

Users and groups are stored in the .mdw file associated with your
application, not in the database itself.

Your database apparentl isn't properly secured. If it were, you would NOT be
able to open it without using the .mdw file associated with it.

To properly secure your database, read and re-read the MS Access Security
