Is it normal to have corrupted Indexes in Win2K?
I do not use indexes (Indexes are stopped/disabled/not used/not desired).
I don't seem to be loosing any files/data and hdsentinel shows the
drives to be 100% OK/Good.
Please advise.
Thanks, Tracey
BTW I semi-frequently programmatically run chkdsk to retrieve the number
of available sectors which is when the "errors" are discovered.
I don't know of any other way running a batch file to retrieve the
number of available sectors other than run chkdsk.
