Index page theme format does not appear on opening site.

Index page theme formatting does not appear on opening the site, but does
appear when accessed by hyperlink (home button) from every othe page in site.
I'm using Corporate theme.

Any thoughts?

Ask your host what the proper file name for your home page must be
- then rename your home page to that file name and re-publish
