Index.dat missing

The Index.dat is missing in the Temporary Internet Folder
and the files that are there cannot be removed. Most are
sexual banners. How can I remove the files and restore
the index.dat?

Gary,
Delete the TIF folder and on restart you'll start with a new TIF folder and
index.dat file.
