Hi Mythomia,
You can download and install the Indeo Codec from:
(For Windows XP with SP1 or higher): - click Save and then install it.
http://softwareupdates.roxio.com/gm/Products/en/videowave_mc/v1/IndeoXPSP1.exe
(For Windows 98 or Windows 2000): - click Save and then install it
http://softwareupdates.roxio.com/gm/Products/en/video/vw4/English592Patch.exe
Windows 2000/XP: Use Administrator not Limited User account to install.
Make to disable your antivirus while downloading, scan the file for your
assurance after it's saved to your drive, but disable the antivirus while installing.
Reinstall the game into the same directory it's installed now. That will create a new
entry for it in Add-Remove programs which you can use to uninstall it. Good luck!

| I just had the same situation. I'm trying to install Sid Meier's Civilization II on my new Windows XP, and XP does not includethe
Indeo decoder. So must spend $15 for the new one. People are pretty sure that will pan out, and it will work?

| Another weird thing -- Civilization is installed (shows up on All Programs in Start Menu) but Add/Remove doesn't list it, so I
apparently can't Uninstall it. How to remove things from All Programs that don't appear in Add/Remove?
