Ah! You need training in clairvoyance! I know what you mean about the
desired gap. I am flexible about this as I have a style that does something
very similar but just occasionally, the text is longer than normal, so I
need to make the tab stop (and hanging indent) further to the right. Well
this is OK because you can change the style for that particular document to
accommodate the longer text. As long as you don't tell Word to Update the
Style, the style change will only be remembered for that particular
document.
