Hi JJ

have no idea what you really mean by this, do you mean increasing the size
of the row & aligning the text middle or bottom - if so play with the
alignment tab under format / cell - if not maybe you could try again to
explain what you want.

Cheers

Changing the row hieght would wrok but we would need to align the data say
by percentage.Eg. 35% from the top. Not just Top. mid and bottom.

You can force a new line within a cell by entering an Alt-Enter.

If you format that alt-enter character to a different height, maybe you can
achieve something close to what you want.

(You can't use this technique with formulas.)

try <forat-cells-alignment-vertical>

the row height should be more than the cell format size tosee this effet.

I don't have any other suggestions.

Well, how about this.

You put your data in a cell out of the way.
edit|copy
back to the cell you really want to use
shift-edit|paste picture.

Try to resize and reposition that where you want.

You could even shift-edit|paste picture link. Then when that other cell
changes, so will your picture.

I'm not sure why you need this, but you may want to reconsider your authoring
tool--maybe excel isn't the best program for this type work.
