Incredifind "Search Engine" has somehow attached itself
to my IE 6.0. It drives me crazy as it almost always
redirects the browser to its own advertising page
claiming it can't find URLs like YAHOO or EMAIL.com.

Does anyone know how to kill this VULTURE without killing
IE 6?

Please reply to (e-mail address removed) ASAP as this is a
temporary email address. Thanks.

Asked here/Answered here (several times today, in fact).

KeenValue Incredifind hijacker alert!

You must seek updates for Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc., before each and every
use, even "right out of the box". But even then, they can't catch
everything. When all else fails, HijackThis
(http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
your files to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or the Spyware forum at
http://forum.aumha.org/ for expert analysis, not here.** (You'll find some
familiar names there.)

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

Don, there have been several new variants of KeenValue/Incredifind lately.
I'm not too sure Andrew's posted removal instructions will work completely
now.

Good point. I should have posted the usual "Additional information at..."
links.
