is it possible to increase the upload speed on winxp pro.

Sure. All you need is a faster Internet connection. As an example, my
cable connection is 1.5mbit(down) and 256kbit(up).

Ya and my cable runs at 4 meg (down) 500 (up).-----------

with a 56K modem 4,000,000 vs. 40,000 .You do the
math.yep 100 X faster.It's all about connection.If you
have cable or slower dsl you may do a googles search for
tweaking cable or tweaking dsl,to come up with some ways
to get it to run faster.Do you know what speed your
running at?Try http://bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/ for a
free test,also read up on tweaking methods.

Let's face it, Chuck. If you are paying for a 500kbit upload speed,
that is what the cable company is going to give you. Don't expect a
better upload speed if that is what you are paying for.
