Increasing the size of a logical partition

Using Windows XP Pro

My hard drive is divided in to c:\ and e:\ (used to store a disk image).
The entire disk is alocated to these two partitions. Is there a way via
Compuer Management Console, Disk Management (or some other method), to
increase E:\ by taking space for C:\? It doesn't look like it, since it
seems to only be able to extend a partition if there is unallocated
diskspace. Is the only way to do this via a 3rd party utility like Patition
Magic?

Thanks,
Bob Day

Chris is correct, of course, and Partition Magic is a safe way to go. There
are other partitioning applications that are as capable and less expensive,
but PM is well documented and well known for its safety. And when you're
performing disk operations, you want safety above all.

That situation may only be temporary. Symantec has recently
purchased Power Quest so that means that Partition Magic is likely to
follow the same path to ruination that Norton Utilities, WinFax, and
other Symantec acquisitions have followed.
