Increasing a form lenght

I'm trying to fit all my fields on one form. However, I am not able to
increase the length of the form past 22". I've tried changing the header,
footer, and detail section. Every time I try and increase the 22" length,
I'm told that it's to large. Like I said earlier, I'm just trying to get all
the fields on one page since someone else who has not used Access before can
just simple enter everything. The form design matches the "entry forms"
almost perfectly and I would like to keep it that way. Please help. Thanks.

I would probably break it into tabs.

You have a paper entry form that is over 22" ????!!!?!?

I'm not sure what you mean by tabs. I have about 50 fields that I'm trying
to get on one form. I'm taking a little extra space by matching it to the 6
page survey and adding some tables and exact text. So, it's not that big. I
just started making the form and when I got to the footer at the end, I tried
to incearse the lenght by moving the ruler on the side and it would not move
any further. I then clicked on the properties for the footer and the detail
sections and it said it size was 22". But you can't increase it. I'm not
sure how to make another page to the form or what to do. I don't see why I
can have one long form when it's really not that large. I apprecaite any
help. Thanks.

A Tab Control is a multi page control. It really isn't hard to use at all.
A little basic reading in Acces Help and a couple of question in this group
should get you there. If your paper form has six pages, then use a tab per
page. (One Tab Control contains multiple tabs). That way, it will be even
more familiar to the user.

That seems to help and does make it easier for the person entering the data.
However, I have one key field for each page and I can't get the tab order to
work now from one page to the other. It keeps going back to the key field
which I left out of the tab controls. Can you help me with that. Thanks.

I understood everything up the to "key field which I left out of the tab
controls."
Are you saying when you finish with one page, you have difficulty getting to
the next page?

You can also insert sub reports, In design view drag the repots you want into
the main are of the report. This will cheat the 22". I have 26 sub reports
each sub is 3 pages each.

You mean sub forms, right?
That would be a way to do it, but the tab control is ideal in a situation
like this.
