Increase maximum share

Sorry if this is the wrong forum but how do I increase the number in a
workgroup from 10 to say 15 on my P2P network. I am aware this may slow the
system down. But it is not a problem.

You forgot the operating system used...
MS "workstation class" (non-server) OSs are hard-coded for a
"concurrent connections limit" and cannot be altered. You need to have
a "server" without that limitation. Time for a "domain" instead of a
workgroup perhaps.
