Just installed a new version of Windows XP but web pages
are not aligned correctly when displayed. Instead of being
centred they are left aligned. I've tried changing text
size but it hasn't helped. Also the actual menu items on
my toolbar (ie File, Edit) etc are in really small
text. How can I make it bigger? Thanks for your help.

I've got exactly the same problem. Had Window 98 for 6yr and just got new
computer with XP Pro.
With XP Pro, the MSN home page looks left of center and the print is very
small (text size on medium) . On the right side of the window there is 3
inches of nothing but blue page. All the text seems concetrated to left of
center. Even the Icons on the Explorer bar are concentrated toward the left
half of the bar.
My old Window 98 is much easier to read with text size on medium than this
new XP Pro.
Is this normal?

Thanks for responding Frank.
So this is normal?.....Everbody with XP Pro with a 17'' monitor is viewing
the MNS home page the same way as I am?

I have Win2K with IE6, and I see the same thing -- a strip of solid
blue about 3" wide on the right side of the Windows when it's maximized.
It looks the same in Firefox. The page is obviously designed for a
smaller screen or lower resolution.

Actually in my case I found a better solution instead of just living with it.
As it turns out my new XP system has a much higher resolution settings than
what I was used too compared to my old system......usually 1024 x768. If
you lower your screen resolution down too 800 x 600 you will see the MSN home
page fits perfectly.
A great bunch of people on CNET forum gave me this fix. Thought I'd pass it
on.
