Hi,

Everytime I use MS Outlook to send Internet mail, the sent time of the mail
shown on the
recipient side is 8 hours later than the actual send time. No such problem
if I use OE.

Is there any setting in Office or Outlook I can set?
Thanks!

Regards,
Andrew

Check your Time Zone settings in both Outlook and Windows.

My time zone in both Windows and Outlook is GMT+8. When I send mail, the
sent time will be 8 hours later than received time. If I set to GMT+0, the
sent time and received time will be the same!!
Why is it happened??

Are you using Exchange as well as Internet mail?

The internet mail server is hosted by ISP. I don't know what software they
use.

If I use MS Outlook to send mail, the problem occur. If I use Outlook
Express,
no such problem. So I think it's the setting of my MS Outlook.

Thanks for your help!

If you don't know what Exchange is, you're not using it :-) Exchange is a
mail server that's used in corporate settings, and usually uses Outlook as
the front end. The reason I asked if you're using Exchange is that I found
a Microsoft KnowledgeBase article referring to problems along these lines if
you're using Exchange and Internet mail in the same profile. So, obviously,
that article does not apply to you.

If I come across anything that will help, I'll let you know, but for now I'm
stumped...sorry.
