I have been stumped trying to track down a resolution to
this problem. I have a system that since a few days back
started displaying incorrect graphics for numerous
buttons.
For example: the right arrows on the Start menu are now
displayed as small mouse icons; the Close button has been
replaced with a non-descript blob; Radio Buttons are now
blurry splotches on the page.
This seems to have started a couple of days ago when the
user was experiencing a problem seen before with
Powerpoint and the Oranizational Chart add-in having to do
with low memory conditions and a large number of fonts
installed on the system. (MS Knowlege Base Article 238307
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;238307&Product=ppt2000)
Fonts were deleted to rectify the problem, but to my
knowledge all of the required fonts are still in the
system.
I have exhausted my resources in finding a resolution to
this problem, perhaps I am wording my queries incorrectly,
but after a couple of hours of searching I am ready to re-
install the system unless someone out there has run across
this before.
Thank you,
Andrew Bubb
