"Incorrect Error Page"

'The page cannot be displayed'

this message first appeared in the title bar and browser
window about a month ago. Any time IE is opened or
redirected to a site, this message loads from:

com/isapi/redir.dll?prd=ie&pver=6&ar=msnhomep
rd=ie&pver=6&ar=msnhome#http://www.microsoft.

I have had two other browsers on my machine now for several
months, as well as routinely running spy removal software
with out problems of this fashion. I would not be worried
about this except that I can no longer check for Microsoft
updates manually and have been needing to check for
Microsoft OfficeXP updates for some time now.

also when I start my computer and log into my user account
I recieve a message that "service.exe has encountered an
error and needs to close". I have been sending error
reports for several weeks.

Finally, My homepage has been locked off in internet
settings, apparently by a website that i have never
visited. This is an irritation and a grievance to my
privacy. Please address these issues as soon as possible.

Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):

If you get a 404 error or Access denied, try:
http://216.180.252.218/~spywareinfo.com/downloads/tools/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location:
