incorrect error message

I copied songs from my CDs to a play list. They play fine from the old CDs
and
the harddrive. When I try to burn the playlist to a new CD, an error occurs
when it is trying to convert each song. The error says that there is not
enough temporary memory to do the conversion and to delete some files. I
have a 40 gig hardrive with 75% free. I also changed the TEMP and TMP file
to my F: drive with 10 gigs free. Nothing works. It seems that this is one
of those situations where the error message has really nothging to do with
what the actual cause of the error is. Would appreciate any thoughts on this
problem. I could not find anything in the Knowledge Base about this.

In IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.
In Windows Explorer, type %temp% in the address bar, delete these temp files also.
Do a disk clean-up. Open "my computer", right-click the hard drive, properties, disk
clean-up. It will take awhile to populate.
