The client computer involved in this has Outlook 2003 SP1, the server is
running exchange 5.5.
When the client goes to send an e-mail, they click on To, and pick entries
off the recipient list for the exchange server. The to line reads Recpient
Full Display Name <Alias>
When that entry is double clicked, it displays SMTP:[email protected] as the
e-mail address at the bottom of the screen (this is the correct address.)
However, when they click the contacts button to add the recpient to the local
contact list, it states the email as (e-mail address removed).
This would be a small issue, except when they go to send an e-mail by simply
adding the recipient to the to list and hitting send, it goes to
(e-mail address removed). This happens with all of the custom recipients on the
server, and I can't figure out why. I have never had an account at
someotherdomain.com, so it's not like it has cached old data or anything. Any
ideas of where to look?
