incorrect address entered in book

I entered an address wrong in address book, then corrected it. It still comes
up in address bar.

It sounds like Auto Complete. Try turning it off, close and reopen
Windows Mail, and turn it back on.

Tools- Options - Send tab -
Uncheck/Check "Automatically complete e-mail addresses....... "
