In regards to Microsoft Outlook 2002, sometimes for both
of my e-mail accounts, the incoming mail server name is
changed to localhost and the original value is
concatentated onto the username field and a backward
slash is added.
I'm not sure of the event that causes this to happen.
Things seem to work OK for a day or two, then all of
sudden I don't receive any mail. I check the mail
accounts and findout they have been changed.
Also sometimes a dialogue box titled 'Enter Network
Password' appears and has the server, user name and
password boxes. When I originally setup the accounts, I
did check the save password box. Why does this keep
happening?
I do run realtime anti-virus software and have scanned
all my disks with the software.
