Incoming mail problem

I have just updated to office 2003 and am hving trouble
with receiving mail in Outlook 2003. When checking with
the pop server, the application times out with the error
message 'reported error (0x8004210A)'. I have 3 email
acounts on 3 separate servers and am getting the same time
out errors on all. i can go to my providers web site (one
of them anyway) and determine that there are emails
waiting. The provider has no solution.
Can anyone help?

It sounds like a problem setting up your email accounts TOOLS - EMAIL
ACCOUNTS.

Do you have the blanks filled in ABSOLUTELY correctly?

Check with your provider's web site to make sure the pop-server and
smtp-server settings are correct. Also, make sure that you are using the
correct info for the boxes on the left: your name, email address, user name
and p/w. You can probably go to your provider thru your master account to
see what is on their record. I know from experience that if ANY of the
boxes has an error, you will not get your mail
