incoming mail blocked ....help!!!

My incoming mail is blocked constantly (up to 5 or 6
times a day) by a blank email with no subject or sender.
I have to re-route through another PC (which strangely
doesn't get blocked) to get at my mail. The following
error no. is always displayed ... 0x800CCC0F. Could it be
anything to do with my Norton anti-virus prog which the
other PC doesn't use?? Can anyone help out - this is
very frustrating to a non-teckie :-(((

Two things:

Error 0x800ccc0d or 0x800ccc0f when Receiving and Sending E-Mail

Turn off the e-mail scanning in your anti-virus.

And you might want to make a message rule for blank To & CC, From and
Subject lines.

For Blank Subject line:

Box 1 - Where the Subject line contains specific words
Box 2 - Delete it from server
Box 3 - Click on the blue Contains specific words

Type and Add *one at a time*: a, e, i, o, u, y, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,
7, 8, 9,

Click Options. Change to Message does not
contain.........................

wow!! that's brilliant - thanks so much. I'll have to
get someone with a brain to decipher all that 4 me, but
it looks really good and I'm keeping everything crossed
