Incoming Connections

Dear friends,
I have been trying to configure IP address to incoming connection of
my computer. But I regret to say that I am stuck and am not able to
configure. Can you please help me out?

Assuming that by "incoming connection" you mean connection from the
Ineternet, what type of incoming connection, ftp, telnet, mail server, www,
remote control, ping, etc. are you trying to configure? How are you
connected to the internet?
