I have just upgraded to XP which is connected to the
internet via cable. I have no problems with my home lan
internet connections.
I would like to use my laptop (on 98) to dial up my XP
machine and connect to the internet (worked before with
all PCs on 98).
Problem is I can connect to shared folders but that is as
far as it goes. is there another switch in the 'incoming
connections' to allow me to route through to the internet?

Help appreciated

if the host setup correctly, win98 should be able to get ip, dg and nds from
the host and will be able to access the internet. otherwise post routing
table here by using route print command.
