Incoming Connection How To ?

I'm trying to set up a private network using a incoming connection via a
modem. I have the remote modem calling in and my modem is answering but then
the modems hang-up and on the remote PC dialing in I get Error 777 on remote
computer is not working. I think it maybe something to do with user and
password settings. Anyone have any ideas what I need to do to make this
work?
 
Did you upgrade to XP recently?Error 777 might be caused if the driver is
incompatible with XP. Please refer to KB article 318009.

Both systems are running Win2000pro SP4.

Hi Ricky,
What are Modems brand and model? Can each of the systems dial to an
ISP using that same Modem? The 777 is specific to being a Modem issue,
this appears to be occuring during there negotiation. Make sure you have
the latest drivers installed.
