Hi,

Sorry if this has been answered, but I was wandering if it was possible to
add ActiveX support in embedded xp without adding IE?

If so, how do I do it?

Thanx

custx,

ActiveX (COM) support has nothing to do with IE.
Just add COM/OLE related componet and do not add IE.

Or are you talking about some particular ActiveX control? (e.g., WebBrowser[2]?)

Thanks. The component that I am interested in is richtx32.ocx.

Ok. This is a bit more specific.

Unfortunately, the RichTx32.OCX (Microsoft Rich Textbox Control) was not included in XPe (any SP).

Technically it is not hard to "port" it to XPe. Unfortunately, I don't know whether it is legal to use XP Pro binaries that are
missing from XPe Repository. I would think no but you do want to consult with a lawyer on that.
