Include Picture - everything hangs

I am using FP 2002. Suddenly the programme has started hanging when I press
Include Picture - from File. It wants to send an Error Message. Same with a
few other commands (like Open Web but I can get round this via File/Recent
webs) Most other things seem OK but Include Picture is the real problem for
me. I've had a look at the "technical info" in the error report but this is
all beyond me.
I've uninstalled and re-installed Front Page but this doesn't help. I've
tried the Repair function. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
 
Turned out it was a problem with a Windows security update. Conflict with HP
software. Also stopped Save As in Excel and Open File in Word

Alan Edwards an MVP on the windowsXP group came up with the fix which worked
a treat

http://patch-info.de/WinXP/Downloads/KB908531_Share-To-Web.zip

Unzip it, extract the .reg file to a folder, right-click it and select
Merge and confirm when asked.
