Hello all:

Is it possible to include certain files that are not system files to be used
by Windows File Protection ????

For example I know in XP and 2000 everything in \System32 is protected and
gets copied to \dllcache what about not system specific. Or is it possible
to copy some other files to system32 and make them some sort of wfp aware or
make wfp to treat them as protected ??????

Thanks for your help.

I don't know of a way to modify the file list. And no not everything in
System32 is protected either. Only .dll, .exe, .ocx, and .sys files are
protected.

Thank God for that! All we need now is spyware/crapware and what not
deciding to make themselves protected files.
